It’s pretty tough to work on a program knowing that there are only few people behind it… but as I remember what our practicum supervisor always say: There’s always a way. Thank God we are almost done on things to prepare for our program tomorrow. Today, I learned that we can accomplish tasks completely if we find a way to do it. If we try to look for solutions in every mindboggling questions we encounter, we never have to worry. In the morning we got along with the residents’ outdoor activities. We also got to share sweet and sour mangoes freshly- picked from the tree. Before the rehearsal of the residents for the culminating activities tomorrow, our supervisor arranged a meeting tackling concerns for the Year- end special, dos and don’ts as a practicum student in LCRC, SLEs, and activities for Dec.31, Jan. 1-2. The residents rehearsed the whole day: made some formations, added up steps; they had a break after it by singing at the top of their lungs with their favorite songs in the videoke. Claps! I did not know that there were really very good singers among them. While practicing their performances, practicum students accomplished the awards, and designed the stage. Some tasks were fulfilled and just needs polishing. I pray that everything will turn out to be good but not substandard tomorrow. My real worry for that day was the AVP. I felt it was my responsibility to do it because I have knowledge of doing it and those who are supposed to do it were not around for some important reasons. Before we leave the LCRC and to complete the day of preparation for tomorrow, we practiced our dance presentation for just 30 minutes! Hehe”, we are fast learners! We danced to the tune of Ellen DeGeneres Ft. So You Think You Can Dance version of I Know You Want Me. OMG! The steps were really fast, it was not easy to follow yet we made it. Hooray! I can’t wait to perform and to see the much awaited Year- end culminating activity! Thank God for this day! Smiles.
