It was getting harder facilitating different activities with the residents because they were more introduced to fun activities; honestly, they got used to it and asking more of the same kind of activities. Sometimes, I felt their rejection on me because they were not actively participating. Maybe, the problem was with me also, I should be reaching out to their needs and the one that needs to adjust with them. They knew me by name, and as a practicum student but not with how I treat them. I think I need to improve myself now, a change that will help me with my ways or behavior in interacting with other people. We teach the world on how it would treat us.

For this week’s theme, we introduced it through different related activities. Living in the here and now means seizing and experiencing the moment, on what we have now. Why live in the shadows of past and worry much about future if we do not live fully on what we have in this moment? I get the point that we don’t have what we have now if it is because of our past; what we have now is determined by our yesterday. However, it is very wrong to say that people should be living in a history and not moving on to live fully at the moment. Furthermore, future is also an important time; as everybody says... we must earn today for higher ends in the future. Indeed, it is really good to here "a bright future" for everyone, but how can we have this oh so bright if we can not do something now for tomorrow.

Eat, drink and be merry for you will not know when you will only stay here in this world. Life is too short and to beautiful to be wasted, but our time now, at the present is a very precious gift we need to enjoy and be maximized. Just think of this... we should thank God and always be thankful to Him for this life He has given to everyone. We should thank Him that because of His sufferings today we are here. Thank you Lord for making me realize the worth of my life today. Thank You for enabling me to live here and now. Smiles",
