For me, this day highlighted the life- sized board game we played with the residents. I therefore conclude that this was the best activity we ever facilitated for we really, really, really, enjoyed it in which we laughed and screamed a lot. My favorite part was when all of the participants who were almost there to finish suddenly go back at the start again. We almost got five rounds to finish it. This activity tackled the two life strategies: “Life rewards action.” Every step taken or whatever we might encounter, it is either we get a reward or a punishment for it. There is always a consequence on what we do, what we have done, and with what ever we will do.

“It’s either you get it or you don’t.” Most of the time, everything that we ask for maybe answered in two words: it either a yes, you will have it or a no; you just have to wait for this moment to come.

Life is like a board game. We take steps and sometimes it is either we move forward or even move backwards. The dice rolled determines the steps we will take, it is our fate. And no matter how many steps we take, forward or backward, or how the dice rolled is against our will, it does not matter for as long as we take the risks and challenges in life it will always be compensated with triumph or a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Hence, we should never give up and give it a try so that we could never ever regret it in the future.

It’s truly true that learning is a continuous process because it always happen everyday. Thank God for this day! Thank God for I have learned to never give up! Smiles”,
