A new week means having a new theme but I still have hangover from the last week’s event. The party, my costume, the castle… Oh, what a week we had! Ahhh… move on for it is a new week and we have a new theme which is Life Mapping. the theme is about finding where we are now and where are we going or indeed our destination towards our goals.

The main activity in the morning emphasized the importance of planning or setting our goals. Goals should be S-M-A-R-T. When we plan it helps us to be worry- free. We need to be organized or be structured in order not to carry baggage of worries when we attain our goals. Our practicum supervisor introduced life strategies such as:

1. Name it before you can claim it. It means that you have to identify your goals before you could aim or reach for it.

2. There is no reality only perception. Everything is up to how we see things. Just like seeing is believing. A chair in front is beautiful or dirty for some depending on how we perceive this particular object. Nevertheless, we are individually different, the way we think, the way we believe or how we behave.

3. We create our own experiences. Experiences are not shared they are felt.

4. Life rewards action. Every step taken or whatever we might encounter, it is either we get a reward or a punishment for it. There is always a consequence on what we do, what we have done, and with what ever we will do.

5. It’s either you get it or you don’t. Most of the time, everything that we ask for maybe answered in two words: it either a yes, you will have it or a no; you just have to wait for this moment to come.

6. We teach people how to treat us. How we interact with people is equivalent to how they will behave towards us.

On the other hand, the main activity in the afternoon taught us that as we achieve our goals, we have support systems, who are our loved ones, but in the end, we are the ones to decide and to work things out in achieving our goals in life.

It’s truly true that learning is a continuous process because it always happen everyday. Thank God for this day! Thank God for I have learned the life strategies which could help me to my journey called “LIFE”! Smiles”,
